California's Ben “BYU” Yu wins $10K Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw championshipBen “BYU” Yu, a professional poker player of California is the latest champion of $10,000 buy-in 2-7 Triple Draw Championship of WSOP 2017. The player pocketed total sum of amount $232,738 from the championship.

Shaun Deeb, a Las vegas based poker pro  becomes runner-up of this event for a winning share of amount$143,842, while Nick Schulman collected $98,337 from the game being third.

It was Event#34 of World Series of poker 2017, to which Yu did great at last and became champion. His total earnings from various WSOP games are $1,084,877.

This is 49th career WSOP cash for him. His previous win at WSOP came in 2015, when he participated and won 2015 WSOP’s Event #50, $10,000 Limit Hold’em Championship.

Yu played a great game against Deeb at the final table heads-up round. He had over 1.5 Million of chip lead over Deeb at the heads-up round.

Some of notable player who could not be able to get entry in top 6 positions were Robert Campbell, Anthony Zinno, Brian Tate, Mark Gregorich, Konstantin Puchkov, and Adam Owen.

First player busted from the final table was Mike Matusow, who pocketed $35,532 from the tournament for his sixth place.

Meanwhile fifth and fourth positions of this current match belong to pro poker players from Canada named as Shawn Buchanan and they took home $48,854 and $68,601 from the championship respectively. Most of the final tablist has already won gold bracelets in their poker career.

Yu was very happy and excited after the match and said that “it was a very tough final table to play”, there were plenty of good names playing at the final table and winning against them is really a tough job, he added.
