Dylan Wilkerson, a professional poker player of United States has won the world series of poker circuit at Bicycle Hotel and Casino and pocketed $217,790 from the tournament.
Wilkerson has only played two circuits till date this year and has become a champion. In February this year, he finished at 11th place in WSOP Circuit main event at Rio and took home $20,908, but now at this time he has won his first circuit ring and a good total of amount at first prize. Total field size of the tournament was 705.
Wilkerson was very happy after winning this prestigious gold ring for his own. He said that “every win is big for me, and winning always feels great. It’s really good to win such a tournament against so many good players, he added.
Another professional player from Britain named Toby Lewis became the runner up of this championship, who pocketed $134,145 from the title for his second position.
Dylan Wilkerson was not having a good number of chips with him on the final day of the play but he did not made a mistake that he made in Vegas. He played calmly and proved that he could be at best even if he lacks in chips.
Carlos Mortensen, a Two time gold bracelet winner and 2001 WSOP Main event champion busted early in the final table, despite playing well at the game. He busted to eighth place and pocketed a sum total of $25,550 from the title.
Another top player known as Matt Stout, who would have crossed $3.5 Million of total earning busted to fifth place. He made $55,150 from the tournament.
