Grand Villa Casino located near Rogers Place arena is looking to attract more youth players/gamblers than average players to their casino. The owners of this Las Vegas styled casino in Edmonton area are confident that the Casino will attract most of the youth crowd, because of their DJ, live bands and restaurants.
The president and the chief executive officer of the Gateway Casino Mr. Tony Santo said that we are a hot spot in the area and we organize not only best of the gaming facilities to the customers but also provides top class live bands and DJs to our place. He also thinks that the hockey games available here will attract visitors.
Mr. Santo said that we know that by offering different style of entertainment and a new casino appeal, we will be able to draw younger crowds.
Grand Villa is a $32 million casino opened by Gateway near Rogers Place arena on Wednesday. The casino has Fish restaurant, Starbucks and private dining rooms for high Rollers. The current gambling area would be in 30,000 square feet of space; by the way total space of the casino is 60,000 square feet.
The CEO thinks that it’s all about entertainment and weather you are a gambler or not, it doesn’t matter and of course that’s OK with us.
The president of the casino expects that the fans and music lovers will come to the casino, and most of them will be youngster. The Grand Villa casino opened recently will replace Baccarat Casino, which was shut on Aug. 30 and will be demolished soon as possible. Almost 200 employees of the closed Baccarat Casino are being hired by Grand Villa casino.
There are currently 600 slot machines available at the casino, and the value of the casino is about $32 Million. The total area of the casino is around 60,000 square feet.
