John Racener, a 31 year-old pro poker player from Florida has won $10,000 buy-in Dealers Choice Championship at world series of poker 2017 and pocketed a sum total of amount $273,962 for the same.
Viacheslav Zhukov became the runner-up of this prestigious poker event for a total winning share of amount $169,323, while third position of this match belongs to another professional poker player named Chris Klodnicki, who took home a good total of amount $117,786 as winning share.
The event attracted 102 players worldwide but it was Racener’s day, who took home the championship title and a gold bracelet here at WSOP. Racener dedicated this win to his mother, who passed away four years ago from liver cancer.
Racener was very happy after winning this title. He said after the match that “I always wanted to win my first gold bracelet for my mom”. She was a biggest fan of mine and she still is from up above.
Racener became very popular back in 2010 when he played and completed being runner-up in 2010 WSOP Main Event.
After a tough final table of eight hours, Racener eliminated three players in just 10 hands. He said “I have over $10 Million in earnings from different poker festivals but no gold”, that is why I was looking for this gold.
The first player busted from the final table of top 6 was Schuyler Thornton, who collected $43,707 from the championship for his sixth place.
Mike Matusow was the next man who hit the rail to fifth place for a winning share of amount $59,827. Dennis Eichorn took home $83,263 and completed his journey being fourth.
