The Oneida Indian Nation Tribe is looking to build its third Central New York casino in Bridgeport. The Casino is expected to be of worth $40 Million plus.
The casino will be built on Route 31 near the corner of Bridgeport-Kirkville Road. The location is just few hundred feet away from Onondaga County.
Oneida Nation officials confirms the news and said that the construction work would began in May this year. The Casino will create over 250 construction jobs. The casino is expected to open in spring 2018.
Te casino will be known as Point Place Casino and the area of the casino will in 65,000 square feet. The casino will generate over 200 permanent jobs for the locals as well as experts. According to the spokesman of the casino, at least 800 vehicles can be parked at the parking of the casino.
The casino will feature at least 500 slot machines and 20 table games along with two places to eat, a bakery and two lounges.
Oneida Nation opened 67,000-square-foot Yellow Brick Road Casino in Chittenango back in 2015, which is slightly bigger than this current casino. Yellow Brick Road casino includes 431 slot machines and 14 table games, but the area of this casino is just bigger than Point Place Casino.

According to the agreement in between state and Oneida nation, the Oneidas can open casino on their land only in Madison or Oneida counties.

According to official of the Oneida Nation, they chose the place because it is adjacent to places like Cicero, Clay, Liverpool, Fulton, Oswego, Bridgeport and Syracuse.
