Casino Rama, a casino resort based in Ontario, Canada said that its customer information has been stolen by hackers in a cyber attack.
The spokesman of the Casino said that all the customers, vendors, support staffs and other operational staff should take care of their debit cards, credit cards, personal information and bank statement.
The resort spokesman stated that “we have got the information on November 4, 2016” that many of our customer’s precious information have been stolen in a cyberattack and hence we suggest every customer including out staff should keep an eye on their personal record and financial information.
The Casino further says that not only customer information, but vendor information, support staffs and their date of birth were also stolen in this cyberattack, which is in our knowledge.
Meanwhile clarifying this issue the Ontario Lottery and gaming commission says that most of the data are stolen from a specific site and customer who visited some other sites don’t need to worry about anything.
Ontario police is investigating the matter properly. In addition to this Casino Rama says that there is no such indication that currently hackers are still in position to access their system, but they can publish stolen information.
